BONNER, Doyne Wesley, of Flint Township, age 59, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at McLaren Flint. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held 12:00 Noon, Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor Larry Thompson, Jr. officiating.  Family will receive friends at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, 11AM-12:00 Noon Sunday.  Doyne was born July 14, 1959 in Batesville, Arkansas, the son of Luther and Jo Anne (Stewart) Bonner.  He attended Carman High School Class of 1978 and later studied basic engineering at Mott Community Collage from which he received an Associate Degree.  He was employed at Barrett Outdoor Living for 31 years.  Doyne married his high school sweetheart, Cricket Barnette in 1993.  He was a loving husband, father, and "papa" and will be forever missed.  Surviving are:  wife, Cricket Bonner; 2 beautiful daughters; Becky Sizemore Faber and her husband, Bobby Faber and Chelsea Bonner and her Boyfriend Andrew Mox; 6 beautiful grandchildren, Ciera Colwell, Brandon Colwell, Kaden Cummins, Ashlynn Faber, Bentley Wolverton and Myla Rose Mox; mother, Jo Anne (Woody) Fischer; brothers, Dennis Bonner, and Douglas Bonner of Arkansas, and Marty (Victoria) Roberts of Michigan;.sisters, Dawn Guthridge, Grace Ann (Woody) Franklin, and Dorothy Barton of Arkansas, and Sandy Roberts of Michigan; several nieces and nephews; step-mother, Judy Bonner of Michigan. He was a lover of life and adored his family.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents,  Doyne and Lorene Stewart, and Thomas E and Stella M Bonner, and his father L.E (Gene) Bonner.
