TEETS, Dorothy (Dottie) M., formerly of Davison, Michigan, age 83, died peacefully in her sleep on April 14th at Hurley Medical Center, Flint, Michigan. Dorothy was born March 15, 1934, The daughter of William and Geraldine (Bignall) Sims. She attended Dye High School and Mott Community College. She was retired from Buick and she loved to travel the United States and Europe. Her favorite trip was a cruise touring Alaska. She also enjoyed visiting New Orleans many times. With a talent for excelling in whatever she chose to do, she sang beautifully,often at Davison Eagle's Club, where she was a member. She quilted, crocheted, gardened and read books constantly. But there is nothing she looked forward to more than family poker games especially when she could gleefully win. She loved to compete and play almost any game. The mother of six children: Vickie(Ed) Vieu, Sherry(Matt) Schlinker, Terrie(Steve) Elston, Michele(Chris)Komora, Leah Thompson, Ronald Rayburn and 11 grandchildren. Her biggest joy later in life was being surrounded by her 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made in the name of Dorothy M.
