WOLF, Donald Raymond, of Flint Township, age 74, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Saturday, May 16, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland officiating. Burial will be 12:30 PM Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Mr. Wolf will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where friends may visit 4-8 PM Friday and at the church from 1 PM until the time of service Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a family memorial fund. Mr. Wolf was born in Flint, Nov. 29, 1940, the son of James and Laura (Holdorph) Wolf. He served in the US Navy from 1961-64 and was united in marriage to Dorothy Schlosser in 1965. Don retired from Buick Motor Division Plant 36 in 1993. He was a member of VFW Post 3087 and Knights of Columbus. He loved to play bingo. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were his pride and joy. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Dorothy; 2 daughters, Dorene (Robert) Story and Donna (Bobby); 3 sons, Andy, Donald (Tracy), and Doug (Carolynn); 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Vi (George) Erder; brother, Richard (Midge) Dixon. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Alice Bexton, and brothers, Bob and Lester.
