Shephard, Donald Edward, of Flint, age64, died Friday, October 13, 2023 at Regency Grand Blanc.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor James Garfield officiating.  Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Shephard will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where friends may visit 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday.  Donald was born April 16, 1959 in Marlette, Michigan the son of the late Morris and Dawn Shephard.  He graduated from Flint Central High School in 1977.  Don married Penny Starkings June 25, 1988.  He had worked many jobs before ending up at Meijer in Burton where he worked for a little over 15 years.  He loved Worshiping the Lord.  Surviving are:  daughter, Melanie Shephard; sisters, Barbara (Jerry) Green, and Penny Shephard; sister-in-law, Kathy Parker; brother-in-law, Jeff (Dawn) Starkings.  Thank you to all the staff at Regency Grand Blanc Nursing Home.
