PAPKE, (Kelley) Diana Lynn, of Zephyrhills, Florida, age 56, passed away suddenly Oct. 14, 2017. Graveside service will be held 3 PM Friday, October 27, 2017, in the chapel at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc, Michigan.

Diana was born in Flint, Michigan, December 19, 1960. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt was called home suddenly and way too soon, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at her Zephyrhills, Florida home where she resided with her husband Matthew Andrew Papke .
Diana was born to Ruth May and Charles Edward Kelley, while living at 2017 Knapman st. Diana completed 10th grade at Central High School. Worked at Broadway Coney Island, and babysat many of the neighbor's children. At the early age of 8 Diana lost her mother who was only 33 at her passing. Then at the age of 18 Diana lost her father, who was only 56. Sadly Diana has known death too well as she lost 2 brothers Robert E Kelley age 42, then Michael E Kelley age 43 a month later. Then her older sister Christina A. Prieur passed suddenly at the age of 56. Prior to Christina's birth another sister June Marie Kelley passed from spinal meningitis at the age of 1.
Diana is deeply missed by her two sons Eric James Vliet age 30, and Korey David Vliet age 28 both living in Fl. They were born to Diana and David Vliet while living in Flint, MI. The joy of Diana's life was 4 grandchildren Karma Ariel Vliet age 10, Angel May Vliet age 8, born to Korey Vliet and Diana Bowman in Zephyrhills, FL. 2 additional beloved grandchildren were born to Korey Vliet and Lindsey MacMillan, Natalya Lee MacMillan age 4 and Hazley Grace Macmillan age 1.
Diana also leaves behind her husband Matthew Andrew Papke to morn her passing who she met while living in Flint, MI about 23 years ago, and married on Sept. 20, 2008, after her move to Zephyrhills, Fl. Diana loved animals and cared deeply for her very protective side kick Bear who is missing her presence daily, since the time of her departure.
Michelle L Southern Newton (Kelley) is also left behind to grieve the loss of her youngest and last sibling. Many fond memories will live on with the closeness these two shared. Not only where they close in age, they shared the same birthday, also the same grade in school, starting in Williams Elementary in Flint, MI. Kindergarten –second grade Diana attended Lewis Elementary which changed to Lowell Junior High when William's was built.
Diana may have left but not forgotten, and loved by Nieces and Nephews Pietra A Prieur residing in Denver Co, Daniel J Prieur residing in Burton, MI, Jeremy C Newton residing in Holiday, FL, Amber Wilkes (Robert E Kelley's daughter) residing in Saginaw, MI, and Andrea L Prieur residing in Burton, MI.
Diana Papke (Kelley) will have a graveside ceremony at Evergreen Cemetery's Chapel located at 3415 E Hill Rd, Grand Blanc, MI 48439 at the corner of Center Rd, Fri. Oct. 27, 2017 at 3pm. Diana will be laid to rest with all those who preceded her in death except for her sister June Marie who is laid to rest at Grace lawn Cemetery Flint, MI. in the baby section. Diana will lie next to her brother Michael Kelley. Pallbearers will include: Son Korey Vliet and his half-brothers Joseph and Macala Vliet, Nephew Danial Prieur and his father Danney Prieur, and family friend Donald Martin.
