LESTER, Delores Jean, of Genesee Township, age 75, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at her residence. Memorial services will be held 1 PM Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Spiritual Episcopal Church, 6577 Garden Drive, Mount Morris, Michigan 48505, Rev. Audrey Charlton officiating. Delores was born February 24, 1940 in Mount Morris Michigan, the daughter of Frank and Lucille (Burley) Pitkin. She married Frank Lester March 2, 1959. She worked as a lunch monitor and CNA at Maplewood for 6 years. She loved cards, books, word search puzzles, and game shows. She fought a long 15 year battle with cancer. She had been a member of Spiritual Episcopal Church since 1988. Surviving are children, Frank, Dan (Lisa), Thomas, Mary, and Mark (Carolyn); 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ginger, son Rick, and great grandson Dustin.
