PURDY, David R., of Vienna Township, age 81, died Monday, June 26, 2023 at McLaren Flint Hospital.  Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life Yard Party in Dave's honor will be held Noon Saturday at the Purdy Residence, 4086 West Dodge Road, Clio.  Bring your cooler and your lawn chair, wear your club colors and summer clothes.  Dave was born in Flint, February 5, 1942.  He was a 1961 graduate of Flint Northern High school.  He was president of Michigan Cruisers of which he had been a member for over 35 years.  Surviving are: his sons, Tony (Jennifer), Chuck, Scott (Kelley), and Stacy (Rhonda); grandchildren, Jennifer (Dan), Thomas (Lila), Zack, Sheela (Mike), Kristee, Tyler, Holly (Cullen), David James, and David; great grandkids, Aubrey, Kristian, Kayla, Kayden, Kaylynn, Ryan, Dane, and Felix; sister-in-law, Ruth (Ted); many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor, parents, Ray and Dorothy, and sister, Judy.
