WANDRIE, Darryl, of Flint, age 60, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held 2 PM Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy, Flint Township. The Wandrie family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. Darryl was born March 20, 1956 at Flint Osteopathic Hospital, Flint, the son of the late Henry and Margarette (Lachapelle) Wandrie. He worked at GM Fisher 1 as an assembly worker. He enjoyed playing pool and bowling. Darryl had a love for sports and enjoyed watching U of M football, Red Wings and Nascar races. Surviving are three children; Darryl R.(Katrina) Wandrie II of Lapeer, William (Charlotte) Wandrie of Tennesee, and Angela J Wandrie of Cheboygan; other children include: Maggie Wickham of Flordia, Jack Wickham of Flint, Anita Wickham of Burton, and David Rolison of Flint. Darryl has many grandchildren that he loved. Also surviving are: brother, Henry (Ann) Wandrie, brother, Richard Wandrie, sister, Carol (John) Wiley, and brother, James (Nancy) Wandrie; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Charlene Ellsworth and brother, Joseph Wandrie. Those desiring may share online condolences.
