DEAN, Darlene Louise, of Mt. Morris, age 68, died Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Genesys Regional Medical Center after a long hard battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, May 22, 2015, at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Rev. George Warson officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Mrs. Dean will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where friends may call 1-8 PM Thursday. Darlene was born September 29, 1946 in Flint, the daughter of Ferman and Marguerite (Lynk) Smith. She married Frank Dean November 4, 1983. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, reading, and watching TV. She had a great sense of humor always making everyone around her laugh. Surviving are: husband, Frank Dean; daughters, Dawn (Mike) LaRose, Marty (Glen) Campbell, and Alisha (Billy) Dean; stepsons, Frank (Leila) Dean, and Henry (Jamie) Dean; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother,
Ferman (Connie) Smith; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Cheryl Johnson. She will be deeply missed
