HOBBS, Dallas Mitchell, of Burton Michigan, age 80, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at his residence. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service arrangements will be announced later. Dallas was born in Pearisburg, Virginia, May 24, 1939. (He was the last survivor of 14 children.) He came to Michigan to work at Fisher Body. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and loved NASCAR. Dallas is survived by his wife, Helen; children, James M. Hobbs, Linda (David Sanders) Hardy, Michael Hobbs, Sheila (Randy) Reynolds, Tambria (Lenny Napier) McCraw, Kimberly (Charlie Myers) Haga, Craig (Paula) Hobbs, and Sheryl (Dean) Fuller; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Sue Hobbs.
