Dodge, Cynthia Irene of Flint, age 62, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023, at her home. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2023, at Trinity Baptist Church, 4222 N. Elms Road, Flushing. Pastor Ron Scott will officiate.  Visitation will be 10:30-11 a.m. Monday at the church until the time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.

Cynthia was born in Flint, Michigan on February 17, 1960, the daughter of Carl and Mary-Bell (Stickles) Bowen. She married Richard Dodge on November 3, 1984. Cynthia worked for Medilodge Nursing Home in housekeeping for many years, and always enjoyed her interactions with the residents. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for 30 years. Cynthia enjoyed crocheting, talking with people, and cherished spending time with her church family and especially the Tuesday Ladies Bible Study Group.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Richard; daughter, Amanda Dodge, of Flint; sisters, Carla Dunning and Serenity Reed; nieces and nephews. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Eugene Dunning.

The family would like to thank the Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute, and the Hurley Intensive Care Unit for their care and compassion.
