Christine Louise Hull

HULL, CHRISTINE LOUISE, a sincere and gentle soul traveled beyond our borders in peace and comfort in the early morning of Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Born, March 29, 1953, and raised in Flint, Michigan, Chris graduated from Flint Northern High School (Class of ’71). Seeking to find her place in the world as an Artist, she moved to New York City in 1981, where she remained for over 30 years working as a Framer and Art Conservator at Barks Frameworks in Long Island City, Queens, New York.

A committed Vegetarian and Humanitarian, she held deep convictions and supported many ethical and environmental causes throughout her life. She enjoyed the beauty of the natural world, museums, music, and exploring her Finnish Heritage by way of genealogical and archival hobbies, and through traveling to Michigan’s U.P. and the Saari Homestead in Cromwell, Minnesota.

She loved a good-quality chocolate, prided herself on artful and meticulous penmanship, had an eye for quality in craft, supplies, and materials, was a thoughtful gift-giver, and treasured having everyone “get together” – especially for outdoor picnics in the summer when she would visit home.

She is preceded in passing by her Parents, Louis and Patricia Hull; Longtime Partner, Lazslo Tardi; many dear Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and feline friends over the years.

She is survived by her Brothers, Daniel, Scott, and Gary Hull; Nieces and Nephews, Leslie, Joshua, Travis, Katie, and Tricia; Cousins, Bruce and Terri; and long-time friends, Colleen, Amy, Jennifer, and many more both near and far.
