SMELTZER, Christian Shane, of Flint, age 18, died Saturday, March 5, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor Thomas Mattiuzzo officiating.  Cremation will follow.  Christian will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where friends may visit 10:00 AM until the time of service Friday.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a family memorial fund.  Envelopes are available at the funeral home.  Christian was born in Flint, July 23, 2003.  He was a 2021 graduate of Carman-Ainsworth High School.  Christian was a kind and gentle soul who loved sports, especially baseball and football.  Surviving are:  mom and dad, Shane and Loretta Smeltzer; mother, Ashley Smeltzer; brothers, Damon and Elijah; sisters, Lila, Lilliana, and Zayla; grandmothers, Renee and Pam; great grandmothers, Anna and Circe; aunt and uncle, Nathan and Jessica.
