Obituary

WINEINGER, Rev. Charles Leland (Chuck), of Flint Township, age 69, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at home.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a time to be announced later.  Rev. Wineinger was born March 14, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Charles L. and Barbara (Ferguson) Wineinger.  He attended Wayne High school and after many years graduated from Baker College, Flint, Michigan.  He married Susan Lee-Munger in Dallas, Texas, October 10, 1974.   The met at church at Soul's Harbor where he had come from Ohio to play the organ for Reverend  W. V. Grant, Sr.  They met Aug 2, 1974 and married 2 months later. Susan often traveled with him and they Pastored together.

Rev. Wineinger pastored churches in California, and Flint, Michigan, and Evangelized all over the United States.  He often referred to himself jokingly as "The Prophet Who Wears Tennis Shoes."

He leaves behind his wife, Susan Wineinger; son, Brian and his wife, Ashton Wineinger; daughter, Amber and her husband, Anthony Yager; grandchildren, Billy Wineinger, Bobby Wineinger, Suvanah Lowell, Hope Aguilar, and Gracie Joy Yager; great grandson, Kaison; sister, Judy and her husband, Mike.  He loved every one of them so very much.

He is preceded in death by his father, Chuck Wineinger, his mother, Barbara Ferguson, his grandmother, Rev. Beulah, and his grandfather, Rev Gaver, all from Dayton, Ohio.  His sisters Lisa Wineinger, Patty Cravens, and Cindy Wineinger, also preceded him in death.
