CHRISTOPHER, Calvin Dean, of Genesee Township, age 61, died Monday, July 24, 2023 at McLaren Flint.  Cremation has taken place.  Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.  Family will receive friends 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.  Calvin was born in Flint, April 1, 1962, the son of Robert and Sandra (Lixey) Christopher, Jr.  He loved dogs and he loved dancing and music and getting together with family and friends for cookouts.  Surviving are:  wife, Candice Christopher; daughters, April Christopher, Sandra Churchill, Samantha Christopher, and Cally Kay "Wolf" Christopher; stepson, Anthony "Tony" Clark; granddaughters, Angelina and several others; brothers, Bob Christopher, and Reuben "Matthew" Holden; sister, Tina Christopher; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by: his parents, and by his brothers, Daniel Christopher and Steve Christopher.
