STEPHENSON, Bruce, of Flint, age 63, died Monday, December 12, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.  Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, after which Mr. Stephenson will be taken to the Beck Funeral Home, 4860 Mississippi Highway 12, Weir, Mississippi where services will be held.  Burial will be in Providence Cemetery, Ackerman, Mississippi.  He will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home where friends may visit 10:00 AM until the time of service Sunday.  Bruce was born in Flint, February 13, 1959 the son of Malcolm (Steve) and Joan (Bukosky) Stephenson.

He graduated from Kearsley High School in 1977 where he loved participating in the football and wrestling teams. He loved racing snowmobiles, motorcycles, quads and he especially loved the many years of racing his Stephenson Tree Surgeon car at Auto City Speedway.

He is survived by his loving wife Paula; sister and brother-in-law; brother and sister-in-law; and sister- and brother-in-law, Pam and Kevin; several loving aunts, uncles and cousins in Mississippi and Michigan. Many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Many special friends and treasured customers.

Bruce was part of his Dad's company, Stephenson Tree Surgeon for many years and later his own business Stephenson Tree Service. Bruce loved his work and his customers, many of whom he served his whole life.

He is preceded in death by his newborn son, Wyatt Matthew Stephenson.
