ABEARE, Brenda Lee, of Flint Township, age 52, died suddenly, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Deacon Michael Dear officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Brenda will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where family will receive friends 1-8 PM Sunday and 10 AM-2 PM Monday. Brenda was born in Flint, March 9, 1964, the daughter of Marcus and Irene (Schlosser) Bexton. She graduated from Carman High School. After a nine year relationship, she married Jeffery Abeare, December 21, 1987. She was a a member of the Womens Bowling Congress for nearly 30 years. She loved bowling, fishing, snowmobiling (especially riding in the Kat Kutter). She was her boys number one cheerleader. She was a big supporter of their wrestling and baseball leagues. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are: husband, Jeffery, sons, Kyle (Emily) Abeare, and Aaron (Amber) Abeare; grandchildren, Dakota, Alexis, and Carter; sister, Mary (Jimmy) Bostic, 2 brothers, Marcus (LouAnn) Bexton and John Bexton; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents (Irene in 2010 and Marcus in 2015), sister-in-law Michelle Bexton, and nieces Alexandria Bexton and Kaitlyn Bexton.
