OSTRANDER , Beverly Jane, of Flint Township, age 66, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 2, 2023 at her residence.  Cremation has taken place.   Beverly was born June 24, 1957 in Gadsden, Alabama, the daughter of William "Billy Ray" and Juanita (Carnes) McCollum.  She married Tommy A. Ostrander December 1, 1979.  Beverly was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She was mostly a stay-at-home mom that had a smile that would brighten any bad day.  She enjoyed having gardens, bird watching with her husband, cooking, and coloring.  She was an amazing artist.  In the summer you would more than likely find her in Leeann's back yard – two best friends soaking up the sun poolside.  She loved reading and fell in love with romance novels.  Beverly was the ultimate example of loyalty, being married to one man for 44 years.  She had a soul that was fiery and stubborn and was a true "fighter."  Beverly is survived by her husband, Tommy Ostrander; children, William "Jordan" Ostrander, and Rachel Ostrander; grandchildren, Hailei, Natalie, Kailei, Evelyn, Mikey, and Jondena; sister, Melinda (Mike) Herron of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; sister-in-law and best friend, LeeAnn McCollum; several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Homer "Steve" and Darrell McCollum, and her sister Melody (Gary) Wellisley.
