It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Betty Marie Cole on October 21, 2024, at the age of 91. Born on May 20, 1933, Betty lived a vibrant life filled with love, creativity, and community.

Betty was the beloved wife of Dale Cole, with whom she shared countless cherished memories over their 63 year long marriage. She was a devoted mother to her late son, Rob (Mary) Cole, and her daughter, Donna (John) Frazier. Betty's legacy also includes nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and happiness to her life.

A passionate crafter and artist, Betty found joy in creating and sharing her artistic talents. She spent many fulfilling years as a kindergarten teacher, where her patience, kindness, and creativity nurtured the minds and hearts of countless young children. Betty was also an active member of many clubs including the Vintage Motor Car Club of America, doll club, garden club, The Professional Car Society, and Circus Club.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester, Michigan October 25, 2024 at 1:30PM with visitation beginning at 12:30PM, allowing family and friends to come together to honor her memory. Burial will occur 1:30 PM Monday, October 28,2024 at Homewood Memorial Gardens, Homewood, Illinois.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Henry Ford Cancer Institute or Arts and Scraps.
