JELINEK, Bernadine Loretta, of Linden, age 69, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at home.  Cremation has taken place.  Services will be held 2PM Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. The family will receive friends from 5-9 PM Friday and from 10AM until the time of service on Saturday. Bernie was born December 19, 1952 in Flint, the daughter of Bernard and Catherine Owens. She married Terry A. Jelinek, January 20, 1969. They stood side by side through 51 years of good and bad times until his passing in 2020. Bernie was a great cook and could make anything. Her heart was always full of love and laughter, but if you stepped out of line she would be first to let you know. She kept everyone on their toes with love, family or not. Bernie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family with every bit of love she could give. Bernie could turn any bad situation into good and any good situation into great. Bernie will be missed not only for the person that she is but also the impact could make on any situation.  She is survived by her three sons, Terry Joseph (Allie) Jelinek, Thomas Bernard (Rhonda) Jelinek, and Anthony Michael (Sherry) Jelinek; grandchildren,  Amanda, Jace, Dakota, Gavin, Hayden, Jade, Landon, Katie, Nevaeh, Olivia, Raven and Hudson; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Amara, Sebastian and Ellie. Bernadine has joined her husband, Terry Alan and grandson, Tyler Allen in Heaven.
