WITZKA, Anthony Michael "Tony," of Burton, age 39, died Sunday, August 7, 2016. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Rev. Sarah LaRose Nettell officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Mr. Witzka will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where friends may visit 11 AM until the time of service Thursday. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to the Detroit Red Wings Foundation. Tony was born in Flint, July 24, 1977. He was a 1995 graduate of Southwestern High School. He was a huge fan of the Michigan Wolverines and the Detroit Red Wings, and he was a kind soul to all he met. Surviving are: his mother, Susan Donovan; wife, Dana; sister, Kelly (Randell Clemons) Witzka; brother, Noah Witzka; nieces, Lauren and Ryane Smythe; nephew, Colin Clemons; many loving aunts and uncles; several cousins; and many lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ned A. Witzka.
