HURLEY, Alvin Jay, Sr., of Clio, age 73, died Monday, February 14, 2022 at his residence.  Cremation has taken place.  Alvin was born in Flint, November 29, 1948, the son of Adam and Marian (Jenkins) Hurley.  He had worked as a tow truck driver, mechanic, SOS Express driver/courier, and for many years as a press operator at Flint Blueprint.  Alvin enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering, gambling, and casino bingo with the Roxbury Court "Harem."  Surviving are:  children, Richard L. Hurley, Anthony L. (Nicole) Hurley, Dale A. (Jen) Hurley, and daughter-in-law Sondra King Hurley; grandchildren, Alexa M. Hurley, Dalton Hurley, Kasandra Hurley, Richard J. Hurley, Layton Hurley, Kyle Hurley, and Ryan Hurley; numerous great grandchildren; family friends, Thelma and Judy McCall; sister, Diana Golombecki; brother, Dennis Hurley; and the Roxbury Court "Harem."  He is preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Marian Hurley, and his son, Alvin Hurley, Jr.
